Overview of the practical application training for S2000M
S2000M is an international standard designed to standardize logistical exchanges between manufacturers and government/military customers.
S2000M makes it possible to harmonize and standardize the entire process of supply and identification of equipment.
Beyond the basic data in a standard parts catalog, S2000M contains a large amount of additional data and requires an advanced understanding of its scope.
This training is intended to make participants operational and autonomous in the use of S2000M, drawing on the official S-Series models and reference frameworks.

Detailed program: S2000M hands-on practice
1. Overview of the ADAM Portal S2000M application
2. Manage protocols (rule configuration, authorized values, inter-data validations, message generation, and more)
3. Manage a project and associated rules (hands-on exercise: creation and modification)
4. Manage items (hands-on exercise: creation, modification, duplication, and so on):
4.1) Manage IPPN catalogs:
- Manage figures (creation, modification, etc.)
- Manage illustrations and figure/item associations (creation, modification, deletion)
- Manage the items in a figure (manual creation or by importing a Part basket)
- Manage illustration hotspots (synchronization with items)
- Manage CANs (creation, modification, deletion)
4.2) Validate and verify data:
- Interactive validation.
- Cross-data validation.
4.3) Manage S2000M messages and their workflow:
- Generate the various S2000M messages (CSNIPD/UPIPCO/UPICPT) with the associated CANs
- Handle the validation workflow for the different states
- Configure the generation of S2000M messages
4.4) Import:
- Import an S2000M message
- Import a catalog in CSV format.
- Import parts in CSV format.
4.5) Export:
- Export a catalog or part in CSV format
- Export the S1000D IPD DMs
