S-Series Training:
Understanding the AIA/ASD ILS Council Standards

Overview of S-Series training

This training is a general overview of the S-Series specifications and their significance, particularly S2000M, S3000L, and S5000F.

This training module is based on:
• The international specification SX000i for Integrated Product Support (Integrated Product Support)
• The common data model SX002D.

The S-Series specifications functionally describe Integrated Product Support, but they also provide methods for creating links between the various domains (LSA, Spares Management, Technical Publications, etc.).

The training will focus on:
• The importance of in-service data feedback in continuous improvement,
• Common elements among the S-Series specifications,
• The Block Release version, the first building block of a digital thread for IPS.
