At the end of the training, you will have gained the basics of the standard, such as:
  • Structured documentation process from XML authoring to viewing the publication
  • Concepts and data elements of the S1000D specification
  • Key stages in managing an S1000D documentation project
  • Basic principles of Applicability, Containers, and CIR
And you will know how to:
  • Analyse the coding of S1000D objects: DMC, ICN, PMC, DDN
  • Analyse and author a Publication Module (PM) and Procedure, Description and IPD Data Modules in XML format
  • Use internal/external referencing principles
  • Reference CIR components and illustrations (ICN) in Data Modules
  • Implement a DMRL to start an S1000D project
